Went to my new lease this past weekend to put out some feeders. First we went to San Saba to pick up another lease members feeders. Here's Justin emptying the corn.  After tackling that big son of a gun we picked up a couple more and headed northwest. If you've ever been out west on I20 you will know the area we are hunting by this next picture.  Here's a close up view.  If you don't know already our place is southwest of Sweetwater in Nolan county. This will be a big change after hunting OK last year but I feel good that there are plenty of deer and turkey in the area. I was curious to see what lakes were in the area and was happy to see we are only about an hour away from Alan Henry. It usually challenges Fork for the most SL's. There are some other good lakes in the area as well but they are being hit hard by the drought. Some lakes are over 40 ft low. Alan Henry appears to be at normal pool. A combination turkey/fishing trip may be in the works for early April. If you're richer than me I think we're related. If you're poorer than me I know we're related.
