Went out late this morning to see how old X is doing, water level looked good, but it resembled ice cold Yoo-Hoo. Caught three fish between 10 and 11:45 then the cold front hit. All day the wind pounded us but it was great to get out again here is my biggest it was probably 4.25

just putting the images on seperate lines

What I heard is there is a regular First Sat of the month open tournament. The details are a little fuzzy as to what time you need to be at the ramp, but I was told there would be someone to collect the entry fee of $25.00. I think it is per person not team. I'll try to find out more and get back with ya'll

I still haven't found out anything, can't get a hold of the two people I talked to. He said that they usually show up at the ramp @ 5:30 and that is where they paid whoever was in charge. I think I'll show up and give it a try, I would just hate to tell you guys to show up out there that early and there is noone around. I figure the worst that can happen is I'm actually on the lake early for a change.

Of the most concern is when does the tournament end... Wes has a tournament in Austin on Sunday morning and they want to get a relatively early start home Saturday. Second most important question, can you drink beer during tournament hours -- actually, that is the most important question... :-)

We'll be there to harrass you Rumb. We will be in Wes' new Skeeter (my old Skeeter). It is a SX186 White w/ red stripes.

Here's the skinny on the first Sat. of the month tourney's. $25.00 per person. They are team tourney's; best five fish. It started at six and ran til three. I showed up at 5:30 and decided I'd fish by myself. 16.5lbs won, big fish was 6 something. The winning team had two sixes and three dinks. I only managed three fish for 9.6, that put me in sixth place. I had a really nice fish wrap me up and break off that could have put me in the money,(top three get paid). There was a pretty good turn out for such a tough day, conditions were brutal. I know I would have left a lot earlier if I had not paid to play.
