Wes and I had a great time fishing with Fork guide Rick Carter. It was a cold start and that North wind brought the "feels like" temp even lower. Here are all of the pictures we took that day. There was one other fish that was 4+ that apparently Rick thought he snapped the picture but it was not there. Caught on one of the plastics from the bait company I pro-staff for -- look for more on them shortly. This was a double that Wes and Rick had. A good fish caught by Rick Wes prooving that persistance pays off. Another beautiful Lake Fork bass. We had a great time on the water with Rick and caught 25 or so bass. Of course, it would not be a trip to Lake Fork without some lost monsters and broken lines. I snapped the line on 2 fish at the hook set and lost a hawg after a short battle on a chatter bait. Wes and I both lost a lipless crankbait fish and wes lost one on a bandit 100. Not only did we have a great time catching fish, we also learned some new water and new techniques to hopefully improve our successes later. Rick was a ton of fun to be in the boat with and the laughter was plentiful. I look forward to fishing with Rick again in the future and I can't wait till the next time I can go out to Fork and try these methods again. HotfootG3, welcome to the ramp... Enjoyed chatting at the lake yesterday and look forward to doing some fishing with you. We left the lake after we talked to you to get Wes back to Austin as early as possible. Maybe we can call those other lakes "Y" & "Z"... I look forward to hearing how your trips went. Thanks again for the info. Thank you Lord for my family and the waters I get to fish FTN Webs -- Affordable Small Business & Personal Web Sites

We had a good time at fork. Rick Carter was a good guide, I would recommend him to anybody looking for a guide on fork. Any guide that will make fun of pq is okay in my book. We found a few fish on beds, this weekend should be a good one out there. |

C'mon Wes, is that really a way to judge someone. PQ is such an easy target! I'll have to see about booking him one of these days if I can figure out a weekend I'm off and able to travel. Quit being a mad, little bald man! http://www.myspace.com/biguncharter
