When is a good time to catch quantity and quality of Red Fish and Trout? My brother and I are thinking of meeting in LA ( he lives in Orlando) for a few days of ripping some lip. What do you charge for a charter? Can you recommend a place to stay close by? Graciuos! | ||

Quality (Texas wise) on trout is not one of our strong points. Our big fish are 20-22" and not going to catch a lot of them. Most of them will be in the 13-16" size range. Reds will be in the 19 to 30" size range. Quantity of trout and reds is our thing. You can catch both year round it just depends on time of year dictating where, type of baits will be using, and how far you want to run. We have a camp on the water where we leave from you can rent for $150 a night if not booked already. Other than that there are hotel rooms in Houma probably around $80 per night. Time of year and package you want depends on price and I'm sure I can give you a FTN discount on top of it all. Call me 985-804-0759 if you can decide around about date and I can tell you where we are most likely be fishing, how we would have to fish, and what we would be catching the most of. Fremont St was kicking! I would have been there every night if the wife would have let. For those that have not been, Fremont St is where the old strip and casino's were. Well they got together due to they were losing business to the new casino's and blocked off the streets and covered the entire street for 3 or 4 blocks and the cover is like a big video screen. I watched an 80's cover band and got wickedly full of adult beverages and just enjoyed myself while the wife was funding the casino's!       Wes, I took these two just for you! RIP #3!  I'm too sexy for St Patrick Day (or drunk?)!  Denise took these pictures of this chopper at Treasure Isle. The headlights were not on in the second picture but apparently enough flash too light up her eyes! Wicked!   Bellagio was cool. In the lobby everything was made of flowers.    What else can I say?
