Fished the Fork on Sat. for the Texbass Clubs first Tourney. Had less than ideal conditions for the area we fished as the water was stained badly due to some irritating Carp and the wave action also hampered the sight bite. This was a paper tourney. My best five were a 16,a 17 two over 18 and one just under 21 for a paper weight of 17.18@. Only one of my keepers was a bed fish the rest were caught the old fashioned way. Had one fish easily over 6.5lbs break me off on Friday and Saturday, the same fish. Both times it was on the hook set:-(. I need to learn Aaron Martens knot for Floro. My cousin did not do as well but had two nice ones that were caught off of beds. Both were over 18" Here are a few pics from my cell sorry about the quality. Lost the digital in the lake on friday prefishing. A rogue wave bounced it out of the boat.

I also want to apologize to anyone that might have been in the back of Glade on Friday, there is nothing worse than having to go #2 off the side of your boat within casting distance of other boats.

Say it isn't so. The dirty moon shot out of the boat! You poor fellow. sorry to hear about the camera. Looks like you caught some nice fish. I may have to pay you a guide fee to take me fishing.

Glad we stayed out of Glade on Saturday morning... :-)

Congrats on catching some fish but bummer to hear about the camera -- that sucks. Way to come thru with the phone and provide some images for us.

I'll put together the recap of Charles and my day on Saturday at Fork and post soon.
Thank you Lord for my family and the waters I get to fish

Rumb, don't fill bad it happens to all of us. I like to think of it as chumming for the big ones. As for the pics it looks like you chummed em up pretty good. Nice fish. Glade has a problem with carp I wish we could get a few bow fisherman in there for about 2-3 days, that might do the trick. Good job again

Thanks guys, I had never been more embarassed in my life. My fish actually came out of a small cove on the south end of the lake down towards the dam. I prefished glade on friday and had some decent under fish but when I went in this cove Fri late afternoon there were slot fish cruising everywhere and a few beds with some 20"+ fish so I decided I would spend all day there. I wanted to try in around mustang as well but I could not leave the bite I was on. My cousin was too hard headed to change baits and it cost him, I worry that he will actually take me up on it one day though:-)

That's a nice one. Wish it would have been an inch longer. I'm still waiting for an over to be brought to weigh in.
