My onboard two bank battery charger has bit the dust. I'm interested in hearing feedback on everybody experience (both pros's and con's) with chargers.

Thanks!

Thye Dual pro are the best by far but they still have there problems. I went though 5 units and two brands at BPS a few years back. The 6th unit was the Dual pro which three years later is working fine.

Also once you drain a battery you can't get them back with the inboard you must use a manual charger!
This just happened to me a few weeks ago.

PS: I don't trust them to be pulled in for long periods of time like they say they can be. Over night is all I do.

I firmly believe that the Dual-Pro is by far the best product on the market. My new boat came with a 3-Bank Minn-Kota so I have very little experience with it so far.

If you are getting a new one, get the 3-Bank Dual-Pro.
Thank you Lord for my family and the waters I get to fish

I have a 3 bank dual pro it seems to work great. I can plug it in and basically forget it, because it does shut itself off when the batteries are charged.

I had a two bank Minn Kota in my old boat and never had any issues with it. I'm not sure which one is in my bayboat?

I have a 3 bank dual pro that came with my Triton boat. It is 6 years old and I have had zero issues. I also do not let it charge for long durations just in case the trickle falls so that I don't cook my batteries.
