We decided to head out to Lake X after seenig Tex's post about the crappie and it was well worth the effort. We stopped off at the store to pick up a lake sticker and some minnows and ran into HotfootG3 -- good to see you again. He gave me some advice for catching some crappie and we followed it. When we got launched we were off and went straight to our first and final spot. I did a little bass fishing but soon it was crappie time and we caught a little of everything -- Goo, bass, catfish, and crappie. We caught several but only kept 15 fish total for dinner tonight. We only fished till maybe 10:30pm and the action just was not quite fast enough for the young-uns. The were cold and the air was damp so they were ready to go home the minute the 15th keeper hit the livewell. We had a great time together fishing again and I look forward to the next time I can take the girls for some white perch action. My little anglers Our keep for the evening

Great job girls. Some mighty fine eating right there. Quit being a mad, little bald man! I've been bringing my camera. Check out the Saltwater reports if you want to see some fish catching! http://www.myspace.com/biguncharter

Mike, that is awesome! I've been having the most fun lately fishing with my son. He loves fishing and boating so much it's wild. My daughter however is like her mom does not want anything to do with fishing. I am glad to see your girls getting into it. |

They giggle... well... like school girls when we get up on plane. They can be a pain in the boat but for the most part they are fun to fish with. I'm not known for my patience but they tolerate my fussing and have come a long way since they started fishing. It definately gets easier on me with each passing year. Some of my favorite memories are fishing with my dad and I hope that they have great memories of our times on the lake when I am gone. Amen Mke! Unfortunately my son (16yo)does not care for fishing at all. Maybe the bigger boat will intice him a little - especially if he brings a few friends occassionally... He does have a little interest in catching bigger fish - maybe the yellow fin tunas will stimulate an interest. My daughter on the other hand enjoys it - as long as I do not make an ALL DAY affair of it. She realy enjoys seeing and feeding the porpus and catching dorado. All In A Days Fun!!!

The new boat will undoubtedly be interesting to him for a little while at least. I'm looking forward to some reports from it and hopefully getting a chance to fish out of it in August. Congrats on the fish Mike. If you're richer than me I think we're related. If you're poorer than me I know we're related. My bass club webpage http://texbass.8m.com/

That's close Rumbanator. My brother gave me recipe so there is no telling. Ceviche (often erroneously spelt as cebiche or seviche) is a form of citrus marinated seafood salad that originated in the Viceroyalty of Peru. One theory suggests that it got its name from the Quechua "siwichi"; another theory suggests the name is derived from the Arabic term "sibesh" (acidic aromatic food) due to the participation of Moorish women that came to Peru during the viceroyalty, also hence the popular name Tapadas Limeņas. Some believe the dish was developed in the regional north coast of Peru, somewhere between Lambayeque and La Libertad, as a mestizo inspiration involving the aromatic and acidic touch of the Moorish cuisine and the spicy touch of the Andean aboriginal cuisine.[citation needed] The popularity of ceviche spread internationally in the latter part of the 20th century[citation needed], and is now a significant part of the Mexican cuisine, as well as those of Central America and other parts of South America, especially Ecuador.
