I haven't fished that much in the last couple of years for various reasons. But i've had a new outlook on life at the beginning of this year and have felt better about alot of different things. hearing about everyone fishing got me to working on my boat and talking to others about fishing. My good friend Rumbanator invited me to fish the texbass tournament at Lake x this past Saturday. If anyone remembers that day it was slightly breezy to say the least. Dave did a heck of a job on boat positioning. As bad as the conditions were, i had a really great time. It felt good, getting out there and rippin' lip and spending the day with a good friend. Didn't expect to catch too much but was able to get a limit at 14.60 with a 5lb kicker. Dave came out better with over 15lbs, should have been more, middle of the day I lost a good fish which Dave got a good look at and said she would have gone 6lbs. ARGH!!! Fishing in all that wind and trying not to fall out of the boat made us both very tired at the end of the day, then i worked all night! Talk about being wore out sunday morning. But it was worth it. Can't wait to get out this week, hopefully finish up with the boat and take my son fishing rip more lip. Here is a pic. |

A day on the water with a friend will heal a lot of issues and catching fish just puts some whip topping on it all. Congrats on a great day in bad conditions and here is to future trips. Quit being a mad, little bald man! Check out the Saltwater reports if you want to see some fish catching! http://www.myspace.com/biguncharter

If you could catch 14 on that day... The rest of the year should be a cakewalk... Great job of sticking it out and making a solid showing for such a rough day to be fishing on. Welcome back Robert and I'm looking forward to many more pictures of fish from you and your son's trips. Thank you Lord for my family and the waters I get to fish FTN Webs -- Affordable Small Business & Personal Web Sites

Nice fish. I watched the weigh-in on sunday. The big stringer was 18+ and big bass was 6+.I don't know if it was the same club. Thanks for getting all those little fish out of my backyard!!! |

That was probably the Gainesville club, I think they had about 37 boats fish that day. |

Nice fish Robert. If you're richer than me I think we're related. If you're poorer than me I know we're related. My bass club webpage http://texbass.8m.com/
