Finally got to get out and wet a line - What a great day it was! Started out of Freeport- went to the banks and had a limit of snapper in 20 minutes. Believe it or not - the biggest snapper is just over 18in!! Pulled out and headed for Galveston - Went to one of my favorite spots on the jetties and ended up with 9 NICE trout, 1 flounder, and at least half a dozen 25-29in Reds - let the reds go - I don't eat them anymore - snapper took their place on the grill. I ran out of bait and did not have my plastics with me... Didn't figure on trout fishing.. Now - I am TIRED!  All In A Days Fun!!!

Burnin up the bait & packin in the weight...  Good job Dean, glad you were able to get out and catch a few great lookin fish for the table. Those trout are THICK!!!!! Thanks for the picture...  Thank you Lord for my family and the waters I get to fish | ||

Thanks!! It was a great day! Now for the recovery. I am beat - I forgot how much it takes out of you and I didn't drop the trailer until 10:30ish last night. HOWEVER - I am ready to get out there and do it again!! All In A Days Fun!!!
