Looks like a nice boat. If you need someone to come down and help you take it out for a spin let me know. :-O

Don't know what to tell you Dean, other than on the surface it makes me nervous that he would trade straight up. I think the other deal is a better one.
Thank you Lord for my family and the waters I get to fish

For me it would get back to having two ten year old motors that were made by OMC and these motors were one of the reasons they went bankrupt. But that is always the gamble when buying a used boat. Good luck deciding. Seems a little pricey for that boat in this area but there is no market for those boats here either.

LMC called me today and told me they will not be able to do the deal on the Scarab. He cannot get financing on the lots to where he only pays interest. Took him 2 months to figure this out?? Really pisses me off!! They said the motors and Hull were already registered in my name - it was as good as done! In consideration of that position from them I bought the Diesel Truck!! LIARS they are I tell ya - LIARS!

I recommend not dealing with a lying - dishonest - manipulative - piece of s$^% company like them. Scum of the earth!!! I will never deal with them again as long as I live - meaning I cannot buy Triton or Scarab or any other brand they are associated with..

BTW - Thanks for the feedback guys.

Bigun - Was it these motors ot the ficht motors that were bad? Do you know cause I don't.

Right now I am so pissed at LMC that I had better not do anything until I collect my thoughts about the matter. I really wanted that deal to happen on the Scarab.. I am sure glad my wife had been preparing me for this possibility otherwise I'd be ------ mad - mad - mad - instead of just pissed off.

From what I remember they were having a lot of problems around here with the Ocean Pro's also. The exact years I can't remember. I just remember about 8-10 yrs ago talking to the Water Patrol guy one day and him telling me it was about 3 to 1 boats with the white evinrudes he pulled in. :-) I'm sure there is somewhere on the internet you could go to find out. I know someone who would probably know but will not be until at least Friday before I talk to him again.

It is always just a big gamble when buying used and no warranty. You may get a year or may get another ten years out of them. You just never know. Had the same decision when I bought my bay boat last year. If I have to put a new motor on it soon I should have just bought new.
