My newest neighbors across the HWY from us wanted to have some mud bugs so we set it up for this past Saturday. It was a busy day with soccer, then softball, then crawfish.

To top off the fact that we were having a boil, Eddie had also just finished off the conversion of a refigerator into a kegarator <sp?> and we tapped the first keg mid day between games to make sure it worked properly for the boil... :-)

It had started out as a neighborhood party but unfortunately several could not make it and we had 105 pounds of crawfish to cook and peel. I think we ended up with about 10 pounds of cleaned tail meat left for the freezer.

Some of the local teenagers brought their guitars and treated us to pickin & singin. It was a great time and I look forward to the next time we can get together and have another boil.

The Table is set

Thank you Lord for my family and the waters I get to fish

My thoughts exactly Terry.

Mike, when is the official FTN mud bug boil?

Nice job, I guess since I wasn't there to taste it. :-)

I boiled some tonight for my parent's 42 wedding anniversary. Was way tasty with the 12 pack of Budweiser's I drank. Man, I'm I getting old! The wife had to drive me home! :-)

Yea PQ,, when is the "Official" FTN crawfish boil? I'd look foreward to getting to gether for a little fishing and eating !!
But then, of course,, we could fry fish,, cook a brisket,, ribs,, sausage,,,, the possibilities are endless !!
