It was a great day to be on the lake, I finished with only three fish for 6.21lbs. Once again I did not execute and had two fish toss my crankbait right at the boat, I was too slow getting the net and did not have my partner who is great at netting fish.  One fish I had was wild looking it had a solid black back and was very yellow on the bottom, I though it was some kind of Koi went it came up. I found some new water to fish on the lake that looks real promising for future events and it yeilded two of my keepers. I unfortunately stumbled upon it too late in the day. Mark had a nice string of 10 lbs and Mr Mike had a nice smallmouth that was almost three pounds. The string of the day went to Marvin though, he had a 15 pound string with a kicker that went 6.86! Unfortunately the fish died. Oh well. | ||

Nice work Rumbanator. We actually did see a Koi fish on Saturday. Texoma is one of my favorite lakes but we can not seem to find the big fish. Congrats to M,M and M for their day on the water. BassZone.com

Sounds like someone needs to look into getting one of those Hendrix crankbait rods that are on sale right now.   Thank you Lord for my family and the waters I get to fish |
