I heard the camera adds 15 inches. Where does that leave you Oz? About an inch short of a keeper? :-)

Nice trout. Next time, smile less and extend the arms more.

By the way, nice trout.

I went home to visit the folks in upsate NY and the stream I grew up fishing is now stocked with trout. I missed two others but I got this one. This brown Trout is 13.75" caught on a Mepp's spinner. I also fished one of the finger lakes and landed (4) Land Lock Salmon but they needed to be 18" so I released them. Once you hook one these they go crazy jumping and just out of control...It was fun!

Great picture, Thanks for sharing.

The first fish I ever caught was a trout with my grandfather (RIP) many many many moons ago!

I See Spots...

Awesome shot there Oz... Great lookin brown trout and from the look on your face you had a great time. Those trout can be a blast to catch on light tackle. Congrats on some good times in Upstate New York...
Thank you Lord for my family and the waters I get to fish
