Top water baits around boat docks. Vince had almost 13 pounds there on Saturday. That did not include a huge smallie he lost.

If the sun is out or they don't respond to the top water go with a spinner bait in the same locals.

Good luck. I am trying to get a kitchen pass to go next weekend, but it is not looking good.

This time of year I've also hear with can throw a white jig or tube around docks where you see fry...The males will hold just under the floating docks. I've caught them aroundthe floating dock at Grandpappies or something like that...

Ozzie thats awsome I've heard that too, and watched Dru try it for a couple of days pulling water. There has to be a secret to the jig swimming, Dru's pretty salty with a jig and can't get bit swimming one. Your going to have to show us how it's done.

Charles,
I'm with Mike on that...you first got to get that bass cat to start and then I heard that lake is somewhere between Texas and Oklahoma. If you get this far you're doing pretty good (JK). I've caught em flipping docks too but I think the best place is around rocks this time of year. A good place to start is around Soldier creek. I backed down to a smaller stike works grass jig in green pumpkin with purple flake. Works pretty good but really not the man to ask about the Toma or for you Charles (Tex-oma). Oz you were right about Fork... tough this week-end but managed to put a pretty good sack together and made a little money. Seemed like the fish had lock jaw or something.

I tried the dock pattern a couple of weeks ago and couldn't get bit. The fish then seemed to be on the banks in the flooded grass. I didn't see the shad in the boat houses yet. That is usually a sign that fishing will be good. If the shad are swimming with your bait then get ready for some good action.

I don't mess with the smallmouth much during daylight hours. At night you can throw a small black spinnerbait or a crawdad pattern model A and do good on the bluffs near Eisenhower and the dam.

Oz, yea Im fishing media this weekend. Last weekend I fished poormans because when I got to the minnow bucket it looked like a lot more people were signing up for the poormans. I think JCs didn't have near the people poormans had but anyway I got third and also big bass with a whoppin 2.38. That tells you how tough the weekend was. Oz are you fishing media this weekend? Hope the fishing is better than last. Fished Hubbard last night and found some decent fish so probably going to fish the Bass Pro tuesday nighter tonight. For all you dallas boys this is a heck of a little tourney. Bass Pro runs it good and the pay back is pretty big for a week night tourney. I think the winner last week got over 600. Bass Pro also gives away a ton of gift certificates and payed I think 5 or 6 places.

Mike, man I got to stick with my partner, and why is your partner asking about texoma doesn't he know the tourneys at fork this week-end haha. Yall coming down Friday or what, and dont forget my stickers man I'm trying to represent. Maybe they'll let us fish three to a boat in the media and if we win Picou you can take the lie detector. Better odds sounds like to me.

I was talking about being in your boat on the Bass Pro tourney... I'm skeered of you on Fork. LOL...

I think Charles is ready to ditch me as a partner, he says I'm holding him back from his true potential...

I still have not ordered you a large sticker for your truck but I will have one for you in the boat this weekend. We will be there Friday to locate the masses of fish that will be molested during the Legends tournament. Chain saw is loaded in the truck and we are finding new water. I know a great creek that has been impassible for years into some awesome backwaters I use to slay the fish in. A few log jams cleared and we are home free....

Man your getting down and dirty but sometimes thats what seperates the men from the boys. Fork is going to be tough I would imagine. I'm sure there are a ton of legends already down there whacking them. Oh well guess Legend has to make money somehow nobody buys their boats. haha Fish turned on last night before the front. Caught probably 20 fish from 6-9 with are three biggest weighing 8 lbs which gave us third and a little more money. Really had to downsize to get bit. So there you go Picou and charles thats my tip of the week. Oh and by the way what size hook do you throw that chain saw on......man thats gotta be abig one!

LOL... Legend makes a pretty good boat but it's biggest problem is that... It ain't a SKEETER!!!

Thanks for the tip, we are throwing 2" finess minnows under a weighted cork on a 1/32 oz jig head over the grass. Is this scaled down enough??? If I have to, I'll throw the 1" minnows... :-)

See you out there Friday evening at the Cove. I'm sure Charles and I will stop by there for a cold beer and some dinner. He keeps threatening to sing that Kareoke thing over there. LMAO...

What is this "Texoma" you speak of? :-)

I have heard nothing on clarity for about a week now, my local guys who fish there all the time are headed to the coast.

Dru, I am considering being there Sunday to cover TTT for Bass Zone. Are you going to pre-fish?

Yeah, Mike we have a tournament there on the 3rd of June. I probably wont be able to get down there again before then. I forgot about the TTT. I'm covering the FLW at Beaver so my fishing time will be limited to just part of Sunday.

Let me know if you are around.

Oh yeah Texoma this time of year its hard to find very clear water anywhere because of the pleasure boats running all over the lake. And if you can catch fish at fork anytime you wanna be my partner? I'm really interested in the weight at texoma I wonder how much I could sell GPS cordinates to my brushpiles for?

That's why I only fish Texoma at night during the summer months. It's not worth fighting the pleasure boats during daylight hours.

I have had a jet ski zoom by me around midnight one time. Couldn't see him but heard him go by. I've also had people come up to me lost. It's fun trying to explain to them how to get back to highport from the dam.

Zeeter what is the price per brush pile? Can I see them all and then pick and choose or is it a package deal? :-)

Seriously, I would be willing to work a deal with someone for some help on Texoma.
