Still working further up the Guadalupe River checking new scenes and figuring out where the fish are. Didn't find smallmouths in this stretch of water today but the Guadalupe and Black bass were there. I lost count on how many total (12-16) but I did remember the 3 on topwater right at sunset. Had one miss my topwater 2 times and nailed it on the 3rd cast LOL! Here's his pic...figured he earned it. Worked worms along the channel edges and scored a few bouncing rocks. I lost my biggest fish on a 1/2 Trap. Nice fish too....jumped at 30 yards and tossed the trap. Didn't have time to drop the rod tip...hammered in shallow water and went straight up and out goes the trap. My fishing buddy had a pretty darn good day LOL! Scenes along the river.

Outstanding as always Zabroky. Axis picture makes me want to go shoot my bow instead of Sitting here wishing I was fishing. Quit being a mad, little bald man! Check out the Saltwater reports if you want to see some fish catching! http://www.myspace.com/biguncharter

Excellent pics. Is that a trout that the snake is trying to eat? If you're richer than me I think we're related. If you're poorer than me I know we're related. My bass club webpage http://texbass.8m.com/

River Coverage on a Grand Scale... Most excellent pictures brother Rob... You have definately dialed in on how to catch some fish on that river. Maybe one of these days I can come fill the other kayak and worth the river with you. It's been a couple years since I have seen the statues. The last time Wes and I were down there a nice herd of blackbuck called that field home and the buck was very impressive. Axis and deer everywhere... Great pictures Rob and thanks for sharing them with us. Thank you Lord for my family and the waters I get to fish FTN Webs -- Affordable Small Business & Personal Web Sites
