Had a great day on Fork yesterday and caught several fish. I ended up with 7.34 I believe and it was good enough for 14th place and a check for $120. Needless to say, I am pleased but I did loose a solid 2 pounder at the boat which would have made my check significantly larger. I caught most of my fish on either a yellow magic (you happy Dru?) or the JDC Baits Bass Bone over the grass in 3 - 6 foot of water. I caught 15 - 18 fish total with 8 of those being keepers. Had a 21.5" fish on the yellow magic and 4 fish over 21 on the Bass Bone including these two. Yesterday was my first day to fish with my new Hendrix 66M and it is another great product from Hendrix Rods. I used this rod to fish the Bass Bone and it casts excellent, is very sensitive, and handled these fish wonderfully. I had been using the 70M for my Bass Bone fishing but I think this one is a better rod for the way I like to fish these baits. All of my topwater fish were landed on a cut down version of the 70ML series rod. I could chunk that yellow magic a country mile and the only fish I lost was because he went around a stump and pulled off. This one was 22.5" and 6 lbs 6 oz This one was 22.25" but I did not weigh it (Message edited by admin on May 27, 2007) Thank you Lord for my family and the waters I get to fish FTN Webs -- Affordable Small Business & Personal Web Sites

You can either go pick it up in Ft. Worth or arrange to have either Mike or myself meet you somewhere and deliver it. You'll be pleased with the rod... Thank you Lord for my family and the waters I get to fish FTN Webs -- Affordable Small Business & Personal Web Sites

Are you saying his bass are bait or what bait is he using Dean? Congrats on the check PQ. You still are not my hero but I may have to quit teasing you about not being able to catch fish if you keep this up. I think it is just a lucky streak though! Quit being a mad, little bald man! Check out the Saltwater reports if you want to see some fish catching! http://www.myspace.com/biguncharter

I was saying his fish are bait size! Trying to be humurous.. Trying to relieve my depression at someone elses cost.. Actually I do not mean that though Mike knows I mean "Congradulations Mike! Good Job! Keep up the GOOD work! Hopefully the next one will at least match this one!" not to mention that i am jealous All In A Days Fun!!!

Nice fish Mike. Congrats on the payday. If you're richer than me I think we're related. If you're poorer than me I know we're related. My bass club webpage http://texbass.8m.com/
