Well I spent a week traveling all over the country 11 - 15 June. Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Albuquerque NM and driving all the way into San Antonio. Busy as heck, scrambled home to Kerrville to spend some time with my Dad on Father's day and low and behold I have two things waiting for me in the mail.

An EBay sniped Curado 200B SF and....drum roll please....my new Mike Hendrix rod!!!! :-)

Mike she is beautiful and casts 1/2 ounces like a fiend! Just what the doctor ordered for my exploits along the coast and 1/2 - 1 ounce lures will be her steady diet. She's strong as heck, balanced like a jewel and light as a feather. But the thread work...Amigo you nailed it! THANK YOU EXCELLENT WORK MIKE!

Rob you are welcome. I was nervous glad to hear you like it. Thanks for letting me build it. I build so many rods that are just alike it was nice to have a canvas. I am looking forward to fishing with you someday. Michael Hendrix

Very nice job there Mike. Sure you can handle a nice rod like that Rob? Might be a little much for you. LOL
