Sorry about that Javelin, JP has my site banned so I returned the favor. 
I hope ya'll do fish BBFT, it is probably the only way I will get any peace on the water Saturday...
I will not make it to the lake Friday night unless I get there late -- 10 or so. I think I am better off sleeping at the house and heading straight to Media in the morning.

The BBFT is a great group of anglers I've been associated with for a few years.. There will probably be a good turn out for Fork..

well I plan on leaving MP around 5am tomorrow morning. I plan on staying all day if I can make it that long, If yall see a red and black Javelin r19, with a short fat guy in front thats me. Ill be between birch and I guess Mustang most of the day.

Just got off the phone with him -- half drunk and the only one who has caught a fish so far...
I'll make it out there in the morning and head straight to my tournament. I may call them and see if they are awake and fishing the BBFT that starts at 5:00am...

well I did go to Fork yesterday, but didnt get there till 11am and fished for about 5 hours. Had some small fish hit a carolina rig, but didnt get any in the boat. Also saw a fish that was injured, I think it has somthing stuck in its mouth, that would go about 9lbs. I never could get close enough to net it to see if it had someting stuck or not though. I could not call wes to meet yall cause I forgot to get his number off my email. hope yall had a better day than me. |

Saturday was a great day for me for numbers of fish. I caught plenty of fish and culled several times. It was enough for me to get 7th out of 76 entries and a little $190 check so I was really happy with the finish. I wish I could have gotten rid of my smallest fish and moved up a few more places but oh well. My largest fish for the day was 2.68 and apparently would have taken BB in the BBFT but I did not know I could fish both and Dan would let me keep my BB to weigh in at Media.
Had a great time the rest of the weekend hangin out with everyone. The bite the rest of the weekend was really tuff and Wes definately beat me with probably numbers and size. Charles and Texfisher put the smack on the fish Sunday and rumor has it they actually took pictures to proove it...
Good times and good friends...

Yep !!!! $1200.00 a 2.38 won all the cash brother. *** OUCH *** that's gotta hurt.
Kay and I were on a great pattern !!!!! for slots.
There is an open tourney this Saturday, $100.00 Entry/Team * prolly 20- boats. out of LFM.
Just an FYI... in case anyone wants too fish..

Had a great time fishing with you Charles. Got to see some new parts of the lake and learn a new technique.

Mike, it was good to see you again. Great job making a little money over the weekend.
Charles and I put in a hard day of fishing on Sunday to get a decent number of fish. I think we ended up with around a dozen fish. Most were unders but Charles managed a couple of nice fish. Both came during the heat of the day while others were sitting in air conditioning.(I won't mention names) Congrats on the two nice ones Charles.
Thanks again for letting me ride around with you. Hope we can do it again sometime.

Good times.. Fishing was slow for most of us over the weekend. I did manage 2 around 5 lbs and some smaller fish. I thought the fishing was going to be great this weekend since the 1st 5lbr I caught was about 10 minutes after I got on the water. Went down hill from there.
Ozzie thanks again for everything. I really appreciate you letting me stay at the trailer when I come up to fork.

Charles, team wannabe concentrated on the beer much more then the fish. I am glad ya'll actually caught something after we came in on ya'll on that one point and I had to show you how it was done We need to talk more about Mexico!!

Well, I'm sad to say but I lost the C-Rig contest against WES. He cleaned my clock fair and square. I hate those sinking things big time and I guess it shows. For years now I've been saying I've got to get better at fishing them but I just can't bring myself down to that level and throw them... I can't think of a worse way to spend time on the lake then dragging the God awful rig around the bottom of the lake...To you folks that throw them I wish you well but I just don't have what it takes..."Brain Dead Patients"
