Any one fishing it this year.
I was going to pass, but we registered last night
so it's a done deal. I may regret it, I always get mad at some moron/morons that do some thing stupid or rude..

Not a chance. Every year I tell myself I need to fish it and every year I talk myself out of it. I'm not a big fan of crowded lakes.

Good luck and hope you catch an over!

Good luck Billy. I don't like the crowds at the skeeter tournament, I can't imagine what the lake is like for McDonald's.

Wes, those boyz in the Skeeter can Flat out fish..

I had a 2-lb 9 oz. bass that couldn't make the board.. I tried for 3-hours and didn't make it.
got bumped..

McDonald's is a free for all.. Last year Randy Maxwell my other fishing partner, when Kay's not in the boat. Won the dayuum thing..

It was really an experience sharing the moment with him and Curtis.. What are the odds we can do it when it hit so close to us last year.

They were staying at my house for the 3-days, and did we ever play some dirt tricks on Randy while he was in the lead..

He was a nervous wreck for the entire event..

He caught that fish in the first couple of hours on day 1 didn't he?

I can't bring myself to fish the McDonalds because it is a zoo out there. It's bad enough during the Skeeter.

Good luck to ya'll this year, I hope it pays off... I'll be thinkin about you and your blood pressure. :-)
Thank you Lord for my family and the waters I get to fish

This years skeeter was unreal for over fish. 2.9 would have gotten you 1st place hourly just about any other year. I bet it was fun playing tricks on him. I would do the same thing.
Congrats to your buddy. Sounds like ya'll have a hell of a chance to win some money.

Mike, he caught her at 7:10 am the first morning then he sat on her until the magic hour 12-1. If you had the shirt they sell and your the hourly winner, they double your win of 1,000 to 2,000.
And that's just what he did. The lucky sucker..

My partner (Jerry Reese) won it 3 years ago; he caught it with 30 minutes to go on Friday. We raced back to the weigh in where he snagged the weigh in bag on a trailer going up to the line and dumped the fish out in the grass.

I bet he smoked 2 cartoons of cigarettes over the next two days.

It was a classic moment and a total pain in the a$$ trying to get all his new toys out of there before we left.

Table Rock, WOW... Clear Deep water...Never been there. I need to get out more. hehehe !!

We wanted to shoot for Texoma and/or Rayburn..

I have never fished for Bass on either, and our schedule for pre:fishing don't look to good..

Probably just try Texoma..

You don't want to fish Texoma Billy... :-)

I'm looking forward to the Texoma event. I really need to get out there and do some pre-fishing. It has been 2 years since I bass fished the lake but with the falling water I would prefer to pre-fish when the level is down to normal -- if that happens. I think scouting right now is pretty much a waste of time because the conditions are changing daily.

I gave some serious consideration to the McDonalds after seeing that they are paying 12 places per hour but I just cannot bring myself to participate with that big of a crowd... I would bust a blood vessel or something from frustration.

I hear ya brother, I'm sure by Sunday I'll have exhausted my patience level too zero.. Last year
the dad-gum wind was howling 25-35 mph and it kept me from running the lake.

That alone hammperd our ability to get out on some deep holes much less trying to stay on'm
if we did get on one. You needed 3.oz of lead to feel the bait.

Then on Sunday the calmest of the three days, while "finally" able to make a run I blew my lower unit around noon out in front of Wolf creek.. Bad Carmma... And we didn't really catch squat for the 3-days either.

Texoma--- AHHH, it has those little brown fish.
Kay, has never caught one..

That deserves an honorary Royal Bohemian Award...

You and Kay are undoubtedly a force to be recconed with on Fork buddy... Congrats on getting in the money and the fact that Kay got all the big checks just validates the theory that she carried you thru Media...

I'm curious though, did you have any patients left after the three day fiasco?

She'd be proud of that... Thank you Mike.

Yep, I was told too start pulling my half of the team. hehehehe !!!
Charles, Other than people jumping my spots when we'd leave for a weigh-in.. It wasn't to bad really.. Heck we only fished about half the allotted time given due to trolling motor break
downs 2-times once Friday and first thing again Saturday morning... It all worked out luckily

Thanks Wes, I didn't do much. It's like PQ said
Kay carried us last weekend.
