I've been roped into this one, I'm tired of going all over the place every weekend , but it looks like I'm gonna be there.....

Thanks Guys for the Hotel/Motel info...
Most of the places I talked too, don't even have a TV.. Awww Hell, I'm really out in the sticks on this one... No ESPN ??? It's gotta suck.

Anyone else fishing Rayburn??

Just got a call from my brother and he won the TTT tournament on Rayburn. He won a certificate for a Ranger Boat and $10,000 in prize money. He has had a rough time this year, but managed to place high enough to fish this tournament and win.

Billy,

Unfortunately I don't have any GPS coordinates. I'm willing to show you on a map some areas I have had success. Keep in mind the best 5 fish sack I have ever weighed was around 23lbs and I was a long way from getting a check:-)

Best of luck to you and Kay!

That's OK... I have a trip out with Will Kirkpatrick on Saturday.. The only problem with that is, he only fishes the South end...
Jackson Hill is upper mid lake.
If the wind is a factor the south end is out of the loop..
Sunday and next Friday will be practice days on the Northern end...

Charles, are you trying to demoralize me before I even see the lake... 23-lbs is a good string most places..

Good luck to everyone in the IBC.Open on Fork.
Kay and I went out Sunday in the Pontoon for a little while during the Berkley all we caught were Slots in 18-28 foot.
I did buy a new 101 Minn kota today.. first Minn-kota in 18-yrs I hope there better than they were then....

Thanks
Billy

I have had nothing but good luck with all my Minn-kota's and vice versa with motorguides. My only recommendation is stay away from the 3X steering option when you can: too many moving plastic parts. The new Minnkota with the easy lift option are sweet!
Quit being a mad, little bald man!

Zack we found a room with all the bells and whistles at the Broaddus Inn about 4-miles from Jackson Hill. We'll be driving down to Powell too meet him Saturday morning.. Looks like big winds will screw every thing up..

Are you guys going down this weekend?
Kay and I are leaving around noon tomorrow.

No, We're not leaving til Wed. 4 miles from Jackson Hill, man can't beat that. I hope the winds don't mess you all up that bad. That lake turns into something else when the wind is bad. Man I can't believe you and kay are going this weekend I figured yalls bass fishing school was going to be in session again this weekend. You can at least leave kay at home cause with both of yall down on Rayburn there may not be any fish to find for us.

P.S I hope you don't pull your boat to fast on the way down there and knock off that tracking device we rigged on the bottom of your Skeet.

Billy,

Not trying to demoralize you at all. Just giving you a heads up. That has to be one of, if not, the best five I have ever weighed in a tournament and I wasn't even close to the money.

Hope ya'll have fun and represent in fine fashion. I'll be cheering for ya'll.

Remeber to remove your gear from your boat at night. Rayburn has the same thievery as other lakes.
