Gentelmen, I have to comment on my day on the Lake with this man. I have never been so impressed with any one person and their fishing prowess as I was with Will Kirkpatrick. He is 70 yrs old and sprye as a you and I, he was around and associated with BASS in it's beginning. He has been with Pradco lures for 35 yrs etc.etc... I've been bass fishing for 40-yrs on my own since child hood and thought I knew a thing or two. like reading a map,reading my electronics, patterning shad(not bass)!!! I knew NADA compared to what I heard and saw with him in one day. It was a humbling day for me, and a very fun day too. I'm very thankful I left knowing much more than when I arrived.. I believe the map reading/interpretation was the biggest eye opener for me. I thought I knew how to look at a map... WRONG.. Those guy's see the map in a different way than most of us do.. AMAZING.. He's a joy to spend a day on the lake with, I highly recommend it.. OH yea, we caught around 75+ fish in a day and a half. Lots of spots and Blk's mixed in, my best was only 4-lbs, but lots-a-fun.. Good to hear that you had a very positive experience on Big Sam... I've heard good things about Kirkpatrick and from your post it sounds as if they are right on. Maybe the next time we are at Fork you can show me how to read a map -- maybe you were the only one doing it wrong....  Congrats on a great trip buddy!  Thank you Lord for my family and the waters I get to fish
