Fished the last club tournament of the year this Friday only had three fish for 8.80 but had a 4.50lb LM and a 2.90 SM. I fished every tourny this year and did not skunk once heck of an accomplishment for me! I did end up winning the AOY but it is a little bittersweet as Texfisher did not fish all of the events and two of our other strong contenders every year took this year off. Hopefully I can fish well again next year when hopefully we will have everyone competing once again here are some pixels of my two big fish. Merry X-mas and Happy New Year to all.

Consistency is The Key

Awesome job Rumb... AOY is a great accomplishment and should give you some confidence in yourself that will carry forward to the next year and beyond. Not skunking a single tourney is also another thing to be proud of. Great work this year and soon it will be you we are reading about in BASS Times...
Thank you Lord for my family and the waters I get to fish

Thanks guys. I just wanted to make top six, AOY was icing on the cake.

"Great work this year and soon it will be you we are reading about in BASS Times..." That would be nice Mike but I don't see it happening anytime soon. I can dream though:-)

Looks like you've got Texoma figured out. Those are a couple of nice fish. Congrats on the top angler. I wish I could have fished more and tried to put up some kind of challenge for you. You've been on fire this year so I'm sure the outcome would have been the same.

Don't feel bittersweet about winning top angler. You put up solid numbers that are better than most top anglers in recent years. Be proud of what you accomplished and gloat a little bit. Not too much though.:-)

Just be ready for me when ever I get another boat. I will be looking to redeem myself.

Tex, I know of a couple of 21' tritons for sale. I talked to Scott Dean the other day and he is selling his 2006 TR-21x and a buddy out of Bonham is selling his triton. Both are $30k+ and I can get you in touch with either one of them if you are interested.

Congrats again Rumb on the AOY... I hope to make it there one time...

Those are a little out of my range for right now. Maybe down the road. I will probably settle for a 3-4 year old boat in the 20k range. I will start looking harder in February. Thanks for info though.
