I was out at Fork yesterday afternoon. Found water temps anywhere from 53 at 1:00pm to 62 at 6:00pm in the back of a creek. I would bet that by Friday afternoon, there will be temps hitting into the upper 60’s or better. I boated 3 slots and one under, all on traps. 5+ was the biggest. The lake was crowded, but not near as bad as the zoo it will be this weekend. I would get the boat in the water early if I was going this weekend. Most folks I spoke with had 3-4 fish or less or none for the day and were complaining about the draw down. Looking at this website, I would speculate that they have closed some of the gates. http://waterdata.usgs.gov/tx/nwis/uv/?site_no=08018800&PARAmeter_cd=72020,00054 Good luck to all who are fishing this weekend. I know there will be some great stories to share this coming week. I finally toasted the rear-end of the Dodge on the way home yesterday. It will take a several weeks to get the truck fixed and/or just bite the bullet and get into a Tundra. Wednesday is my day off during the week. If anyone has a backseat open on Wednesday’s, holler at me!!! You all tear it up this weekend!!!! Thanking the Lord, all day long --- tomc
