Reading all the pro's comments about Falcon and how many big fish they are catching makes me really want to make a trip down there.

Culling 6 pounders... WOW!!!

Too bad the drive is that far from North Texas.
Thank you Lord for my family and the waters I get to fish

I figure about $300 for truck gas. Maybe another $200 or so for boat gas.
Estimated Time: 8.0 hours 7 minutes Estimated Distance: 513.76 miles

Wouldn't be worth the trip unless I fished for about 4-5 days.
Wonder what rooms go for down there?
Thanking the Lord, all day long

My pleasure on the donations.

I appreciate the invite and will keep that in mind. October is usually about the end of my fishing and the swing into deer hunting starts. Hopefully Charles and I will be fishing in the Media championship in October also.

That would be a great place to test some fishing rods huh... :-)

Day 2 and almost 80lbs. Unbelievable.

Truly amazing. 132 pounds and only wins by 4 ounces. Aaron Martens had 109 pounds and still had to worrry about catching 25 more pounds to win.

Planning a trip down there now.

I wanted to go a month ago but PQ's words were "It is too Far!" :-) That must be one amazing fishery they hit at the prime time and weather. Man, did they catch some fish!

What you left off Wes is that you followed that line with "when I'm not doing something else!" :-)

I think the time to go would be between Christmas and New Years. I know a guy that fishes the Stern series and he was there pre-fishing and said it was incredible. As it is with everything else timing is critical.

I bet 100,000 other bass fanatics are having the same conversation about going to falcon this fall/next spring right now.
