Humble Billy Dyson... congrats to you and Kay as well for another solid finish, another check, and for taking the lead in the AOY points race... Thanks guys, I truly appreciate the support and feedback. I have several more photos I will attempt to put into a photo gallery of the event as well. As much work as it is to get this story completed, I have a blast covering these things. When guys that I respect in the Outdoors Journalist community like Ray Sasser, James Overstreet, and Kyle Carter greet me by name its a pretty cool feeling. I know I am still a fledgling in their environment but they make me feel right at home. Overstreet and I spent the day together on Sunday running around in his boat following these guys and it was entertaining to say the least. Check out this shot of Jordon launching a bedded fish into the boat -- http://sports.espn.go.com/outdoors/tournaments/general/photogallery?id=3355866&photo=11 -- James got some great shots and I had serious camera envy riding around with him. Thank you Lord for my family and the waters I get to fish

Man good write there Picou! Congrats also to the Dysons.....back on top as usual. The week-end as a whole was great. Cool to see the big sticks on the lake that I call home. Pretty humbling when you meet these guys and talk fishing with them....they are in a whole new league. Friday night spent some time with Jason Quinn at his trailer eating and drinking some cold ones....it's unbelievable the equipment he has. We were in his trailer and he said these are my back up rods, opened his closet and I bet there were 50 rods with price tags still on them and being sponsored by pfleuger i bet just as many reels still in the box. One of the coolest things was we were shooting the bull and I asked him what he had been catching most of his fish on all week. He said let me show you, then he pulls out this swimbait that was probably every bit of 12 inches that looks like a talapia. I said holy @@@@ and he said yeah and they are only $200.00 a peice. Absolutely crazy. $200.00 for one bait. I don't know that I would be throwing that on FORK. But all around a great guy and very knowledgeable about the sport. Pretty cool to hang out and eat with a guy you watch on the outdoor channel and much less have him invite you in his living quarters and drink some beer with you. He also said he is gone from home 300 days out of the year. Couldn't imagine. How many think they could get a kitchen pass for 300 days a year? Good job again on the weekend guys both in the tourney and the write up. Catching Big Ole PIGS... I contest that my $7.99 Academy net has yet to fail us. Apparently, the problem comes in when LURCH here has to bend down to net a fish because the handle is shorter than his net. Zach, sounds like you had a great time hangin with Quinn. He seems like a great guy who really enjoys the sport. Those guys throwing them HUGE swimbaits had a tuff go of it this past weekend. Heck, the winning pattern of deep running crankbaits would have killed me, I cannot imagine chunkin those monster baits all day. Thank you Lord for my family and the waters I get to fish
