I started to get excited looking at the points standings after our last event. Then I noticed the names above us and all the wind was taken out of the sails.... :-)

I believe Charles and I have our work cut out for us to move up the AOY leaderboard and virtually impossible to overtake the lead given the names occupying the number 1 & 2 positions. It does not mean we are not going to try our butts off to improve but man what a challenge... :-)

Place Angler 1 Angler 2 Points
1 Billy Dyson Kay Dyson 454.41
2 Zach Hughes Jason Milliken 451.31
3 Joey Shelton Scott Scroggins 451.00
4 Eric Wright Robert Feagin 435.81
5 Clay Rogers Brad Rogers 434.31
6 Greg Stanley Ray Vereen 432.84
7 Sid Hudson Lee Deboer 428.59
8 Michael Picou Charles Ameen 428.14
9 Chuck Turner Mike Sanders 423.20
10 Steve Nuckolls Bruce Powell 416.67

I cannot extend a large enough CONGRATS to the Dysons and Zach & Jason. You folks are some tuff competition and ultra consistent. I am proud to know you and thanks for being a part of FTN...
Thank you Lord for my family and the waters I get to fish

Mike you almost made me cry too....you know I'm out of it.

Good god look who's in front of me. From now on my fish have done moved on....and we all know how Billy and Kay (or how Kay) does this time of year. J/K Billy looks like you might have another year wrapped up man :-).

Mike just let Charles start running the trolling motor and you all might have a chance...hehehehe:-)

OOOOWWWWWWWW !!!! To funny..

Wrapped up..
I wouldn't say that Zach, any thing can happen. The water temps are very low for this time of year... May is an anything can work month.. 1-foot to 35-foot, we have too figure it out every single day just like every one else, one bad decision can blow a season when every event counts, and it's this close at the top...

yeah I here that. Last year in may we went deep when we should have stayed shallow.....oh well guess thats how you learn.

Billy, can you believe Mike I think he's just setting us up to come in from the back end and take the championship. Trying to lull us to thinking we're good.......Guess that's one of those stellar writers techniques.

No I'm just kidding Mike like Billy said it's anybodys game. Fished Rayburn this last weekend and wasn't going to pre-fish good thing I did cause two of my trolling motor batteries had completly gone bad. That would have sucked and left me with out a trolling motor.

And Charles.....after the post I wrote the other day and giving it some thought I think you better just stay as net man:-) hehehehehe

Go get em boys

Don't ya'll think for a moment that you don't have bulls eyes on your backs... :-) Charles and I are not giving up at all and will continue to work as hard as we can to pass you. Being in the top 10 adds a whole new realm to the tournament and being able to smell the free entry fees next year is quite appealing.
