Well,
The wife and I took a trip out to moss again. It was pretty windy at first. Then I had to battle with the skiers/jetskis.
Had multiple people come with in 100yrds of me at full bore :-(.
Man did I ever want to throw my Zara spook and catch a skier!!!!!

Well....Really not to much to report.
Fished from 12:00 to 7pm
Water was 70.1
3 1/2' visab.
Got several "cookie cutters"up to 2 lbs(Most 1-1/2) on a SK pmpkn grn finesse worm.
Couple on Jig and a 3.25" Yum Black Neon Crawbug"( With MY special sauce) :-)

Didn't see any on beds today. did see alot of small bass fry swimming around. Caught one momma protecting her babies.

Had a great time just being out on the water.!!

Thanks Mike. I guess if I keep listening to you I might some day become a bass fisherman after all :-).

Hey Richard,
There's a funny story to that. I've been trying to get my wife in to fishing. I set her up with a spin cast set up and a 1/16th OZ Blakemore road runner with a white 2" curl tail.
Well.....After about three trips out I have noticed she's been keeping up with me by using that RR. The bass have been smaller, but the same numbers, or better then I.
I tried throwing smaller profile baits. Even smaller spinner baits but just could get the results that she was with the RR.

SOOoooo.... I went to Wally World and found a huge RR used for stripper fishing. I put on a 3" white curly tail. It's just like the smaller 1/16 oz rig. Just larger.
The jurys still out. I only got to throw it for about 15 minutes before we had to leave. but I'll be giving it some time in the water the next time I'm out for sure.

Sounds good Shaun. Go to the old boat ramp on the south end, follow the west bank up to the point between the coves and have her throw the RR. I used to catch crappie around that point. I have a few other suggestions, but would need to show you in person.

Sounds like a good fishing trip in the making. When it slows down a little I'll have more time to fish.I'll give ya a shout then.
During the summer we put in crazy hours at work
:-(.
I only have about one more month and it will go back to normal.
Thanks for the help!!!

Man that's a understatement...........
71 hours last week. I had 40 by the time I clocked out on Wednesday.
You would think I would get tired of looking at fish. I spend 10-14 yrs a day stocking ponds/lakes with fish, but still can't wait to got off work and head to the lake :-).

I've gotten really good at catching the dinks at Moss. I'm just not fairing well at the 3+ range.
I think I might be better off fishing Ray Roberts to catch the larger Bass I'm looking for.
