The Team in question was leading until the final minutes, when out of nowhere the last team to weigh-in had the bigger sack, barely... They were long gone before that though... David Haas DQ'ed them for not being there too take a polygraph.. And everyone slid up one spot... The general thoughts on what happened is ........ They cheated, thinking 9+ lbs would yield a nice payday without a polygraph... Normally it would have... It was a tough day, the weights were very low for Media in May, and these jokers were winning.. They ghosted the area.. Now you see me, now you don't... No one knew them, or had ever seen them before is the story I got. Freak'n cheaters they were. No one leading an event would leave before the final weigh-in if their on the up&up.. Kinda funny really, I wonder NOW if that has ever happened before ... and worked... Kay and I work very hard for our fish. Too think some one would try and come in under the radar, puts a whole new perspective on things for me. Unless I know them, or they have some history with the Trail, I'll have one eye brow raised.. This is not the gospel by any means, Just mine and several others interpretation of what happened from being there.. Wild stuff HUH !!!!!! |

Yeah I thought that was a little wierd too, but just thought they failed the polly graph......I never thought we would end up with what we got with one of the fish we had being a definate culler. We also worked extremely hard for our fish and it sucks that some jokers have to come and do that. Maybe a good ol country a@@ whooping might change their mind cause the way I look at cheating like that is stealing money from people Catching Big Ole PIGS... It is just beyond stupid to try to pull something like that off. Congrats to the Dyson's and Zach for cashing again. That is what I call consistency. Great job! Thanking the Lord, all day long --- tomc

Unbelievably stupid and arrogant to think you could pull that off at a respectable event. Chuck GIG'EM AGGIES

Sorry we missed all the fun on Saturday. After seeing some of the weights coming in and with my boat parked on the other side of the ramp I did not like letting it sit over there out of sight especially with all the traffic of Memorial Weekend. Charles and I decided that getting the boat on the trailer -- where the cold beer resided -- was a pretty good plan... Tom, I did not know you were there brother or I would have found you to say hello. Who did you fish with? Charles and I worked our tails off for that limit and if someone is cheating and taking money out of honest competitors pockets... They need a good arse whoopin. Thank you Lord for my family and the waters I get to fish

Mike, We did see you and Charles blow by us one time while we were fishing. I weighed in and we split. My partner Charlie never got out of the boat. Too many folks on the lake and too much fishing equipment in the boat to hang around. Thanking the Lord, all day long --- tomc

Was that in Williams, Lil Mustang, Wolf, Chaney, or way up the Big Caney arm? We were all over the lake that day trying to put a limit together. I think next tournament we will have Charles park his truck at the Minnow Bucket so we have some beer close by for weigh in... Thank you Lord for my family and the waters I get to fish
