Well, My fishing partner and I pre-fished lake Nocona Today. It's the second time for me to be on the lake.Pretty neat litle lake.As usual, to many skiers,and to much boat traffic.But we did ok none the less. My partner let two 5 lb'ers+ get off before they reached the boat. I hope that doesn't happen next weekend while fishing the tournament  . We ended with a limit of fish, a slight sunburn, and a snake that keep trying to climb in the boat. The best one I caught of the day was this one. She had just layed her eggs.Her belly was very loose.She mesured 20" long. The scale I had said two lbs? I just got the scale at wally world. I think it's off a little? Ya'll wish me luck for next weekend.I'm afraid I'll need it  I'm getting a little better at this bass fishing thing. I'm for sure enjoying myself trying. Shaun  Phil 4:13 | ||||||||||||

Definate improvement from the dinks you were catching... Sorry I could not call you back Shaun, I forgot my phone charger for the trip this weekend and had to turn off the cell phone to conserve battery. Looks like ya'll did pretty well and you will be just fine for the tournament. Just keep your confidence up and "go fishing". Give me a call when you can. Mike, We need to go fishing soon. I need some lessons from the big bass master . I'll pay for the gas and the beer. I'll even let you play with my new side Imaging fish finder. LOL.Ozzie that's funny!! Looks like he just dumped out the bag and is looking for where the fish went. . Basshunter- Awesome bass! I didn't know the lake had those there. Hey Red.....He use to be but I do not believe he is part of the DCBC any longer. I have not seen him at a meeting or tournament this year. |
