Posted on Sunday, June 8, 2008 - 9:11 am:    That's right, he broke my left kneecap...I'm hobbling around 2 days later like Chester on Gunsmoke! AS the snail said to the officer when reporting a mugging by a slug..."it all happened so fast!". I just set the pole down in a five gallon bucket, and was stringing up another, when wham .. the rod shot out of the bucket and the reel caught in the strap that holds the canopy up over my head, I leaped over the bucket, caught the end of the cork handle, BUT landed full force on the inside of my right knee. The pain was blinding. I knew something was bad. Oh yeah, I landed the 24 inch rascal. Makes want to give up fishing (untill next week!) Sorry for your pain but ya' got to admit it's a funny story and a strange way to get a knee injury... And they say that fishing is not a dangerous sport...
