Wes

I use a black #? can't remember swivel size, tied to 30-lb braid. If the spoon starts fouling out I'll take it off and tie direct..

It's weird, some spoons will foul out more than others of the same make.

After this past Saturday, The fish are truly every where right now. Kay hooked up with a 8.4 lber in the first 5-mins of competition that had me jacked until I put on the check-it stick 23.25 inches.. Real fat and health looking fish
in 12-13 foot on the top of a ridge..

We were run off the lake two times Saturday with very high winds, rain and lightening.
Both times the fish were going NUTZ, every cast
yielded a nice weigher. Of course after every thing blew thru the fish were OFF again..

We only had maybe 6-7 slot fish all day, but we caught 35-40 fish for the day. The fishing is real good at Fork right now..

The Skeeter should be a Blast, Kay and I looking forward too seeing everyone..

PQ talks about swinging for the fence but we will spend some time shallow looking for unders or he starts crying in the boat

Na... Just figure you'll loose fewer fish if we stay shallower! :-)

Fishing deep to PQ is when his trolling motor prop stops kicking up mud:-)

Billy you read my mind....got those spates spoons but on a pretty good swim bait bite right now deep. Never know what the bite might yield!

Skeeter is probably my favorite BB tourney and the pay out vs. pay in is awesome.

C rigs, spoons, swimbaits, and magics for me this weekend but I guess thats no secret...just got to find the right school of good weigh fish.

See you down there Billy and PQ and whomever is going to play. :-)

Zach sounds Like a Dang good game plan....

I know where Sinkey will be... Look for the Homestead Stakes with Bright Orange flagg'n
and he'll be near by, camped out for two days.

I'll be moving around if the traffic will let me,
or that may force me to move too.. It's gonna be busy..

I have 3-4 starting spots, I doubt they'll hold up all day. You never know though..

One fish Lord, is all I'm asking. An 11.+ lber will do just fine indeed....

Looks like Spate's Spoons, C-Rig, JDC "Stupidly Big" baits, Swimbaits, and maybe even some deep water Bass Bone fishing is on order for Wes and I.

Hopefully it works out and we all end up with a couple of checks during this one.

Sinkey is in for a real treat on Thursday... Glad we are taking his boat! :-)

I do not view the trip with Carter as cheating, more as a strategic action to compensate for existing deficiencies which are an obstacle in our overwhelming desire to be competitive and enhance the opportunity for enjoyment while on the water during the event.

SINKEY RAY CYRUS GUIDE SERVICE
(wig not included on trips, unless catfishing)

I have a pretty decent rate for guided night trips.
Here's my rates......
1/2 Night= 12 pack Bud Light + 1 pack Marlb. Lights.
Full night= Case of Bud Light + 2 packs Marlb. Lights.

All bait, including 10 in. worms, waterdogs (jk), will be included.

You will be fishing out of a brand new Skeeter boat, with 2 large coolers, whoops, I mean 2 livewells for catch or empty soldiers!

Hope to see you guys on the water for a night of Full Fun and empty cans!!!!!!!!

Wes, I knew ----- with a crew like that on Fork at night some cold brew would surely be involved..

PQ.. that was quite an eloquent description
of the up coming events...

Keep a light on in the back of the boat Chris, the ol Game Wardens are using night vision to spot law breakers. Last trip out at night we got checked twice by the same two G.W.'s cause we were drinking the first time they checked us..

NADA the second time, they left us alone after that.. Unfortunately we were out of beer, but the Scotch was under the seat. They didn't look there..
