Just seeing if this thing was legite or not. Anybody fishing it or know about how many are in. I wish I could but my daughter made the All Stars softball team and the tournament is Thursday - Saturday so that is where I will be. I was definately interested in that event but family first for me -- for a change... Good luck to you if you enter.  Thank you Lord for my family and the waters I get to fish

I think there will be a pretty good turn out, The problem for us is, Axton's start time is 7:00am Why ??? The JCO and March O.D. is safe light @ 5:50am, it cause's a conflict for me.. I like the bigger payout, Kay and I are definitely leaning that direction for next year. I would LOVE to fish the Bass Champs East Division and focus on Sam Rayburn and Toledo Bend.. Maybe, were just thinking about it. The cost and projected cost of fuel, etc... will play a big roll in what we do next year. It's getting ridiculous, the smaller pay outs are at a break even almost for us.. KBD Fishing | ||||||||||||

KBD, you hit the nail on the head...Next year I will be sticking to Fork only...With Media drawing 100+ boat the payout is better and I don't have far to go...I really think some of these small trails are going to get pinched out next year. If a trail is getting 35 or less and you don't win you lose...Expense's will eat everything up for a 2nd place finish of $300.00. Gas is so ridiculous I was thinking of adopting Twok as the new home lake just to save fuel. Twok is 20 minutes from the house to the bridge; Fork is 50 minutes. Luckily, Brenda does not like Twok as much as Fork. Guess we will be sticking with Fork. Fishing Friday with a buddy to split gas;) Thanking the Lord, all day long --- tomc | ||||||||||||

Billy man I hear ya, It like if you don't win 1st, 2nd , or 3rd you almost are still in the hole......thats why this 10 grand seems pretty good. But do agree with some that it sounds a little fishy 10 grand guaranteed with the city of Emory involved. I gave up on counting the fuel to get to the lake and the fuel in the boat as expenses. If I was not fishing a tournament I would be going to the lake anyway to fish so those are expenses I am going to incur no matter what. Getting my entry fee back is what I am looking for. Anything above that is profit in my mind. Now, on the tax return, that's a whole nother story... Thank you Lord for my family and the waters I get to fish
