This was the most fun I've had in a while. Dont, think I laughed so hard in my life. All while we caught fish, BIG FISH, all night long. Well, some of us! Lets play a game of who's missing in the photos! Hahahaha! We ended up the night with close to 20 fish. 2 over 8 lbs. and 1 right at 7 lbs. One hell of a night fishing. Thanks again Chris. I haven't laughed that hard in a long time. All fish I caught thursday night were on a split shot grande bass mutant in black/blue. I had a 8.5, 8, and one around 5lb that we didn't weigh. Sinkey had another good fish that got off right at the boat. PQ.... well he didn't do quite as well... He did do a decent job of getting us beer till he got too pissed of to even do that All fish were caught in about 100yard stretch of bank that we just kept working. PQ did not get shut out for the night though, he did manage to catch the last fish of the night...a catfish  That fish almost put sinkey and I in the hospital from laughing so hard. | ||||||||||||

I'm glad I could provide the comedic relief for the two of you. The strategic hooking and subsequent landing of the catfish in the final hour was a difficult feat but worth the effort to see the two of you in hiserics. I thought Wes was going to pass out he was laughing so hard and Sinkey almost fell in the lake trying to catch his breath from laughter. I got my rear end handed to me that night but it was worth every minute. I laughed so hard at Wes & Sinkey yuckin it up at my expense that my sides hurt. To have that night on video would be classic... Words cannot describe the rationing of crap I got from the two of them. It was brutal to say the least. I have no defense... I just stunk it up. At one point, late into the butt kicking, the wind blew the stench of a live skunk across the water and I, apparently not thinking clearly, commented... "I smell a skunk!" Well, I'm sure you can imagine the laughter and banter from Wes and Sinkey on that one... That was a night fishing trip I will never forget and probably never live down. Too many unscripted things occurred that had me doomed. It was a great trip and I look forward to getting some redemption.  Thank you Lord for my family and the waters I get to fish

This is how bad it was for PQ. At one point he broke his line and when it popped it got tangled up in my rod. As I was getting it out I told him I needed to hurry so I could set the hook on this fish. I finally got his line out and then set the hook. 8lbr A couple of times during the night Sinkey and I just stopped fishing and went to drinking beer to give PQ a chance... didn't help. Boy couldn't do anything right thursday night except get us beers. | ||||||||||||

Keep it up Mullet Head!!! I'd of rather not got bit Billy... Part of the deal was I was getting bit and either breaking off, or missing, or the fish were coming unbuttoned. I had the bites to be in the mix -- probably not in the lead but at least in the mix. I was jinxed to the hilt that trip... It was too much fun and could not have been scripted any more against me... Zach- Billy's right. My little girl turns 2 this weekend. Besdies I need a break. That Axton's tourney is very suspect for me. I mean, whos backing the money? Super Teams Media was well advertised and in March, and had 20k. But only had 130 boats. I think this will be a flop. Ill be suprised if it even draws 100 boats. I guess you were there Sunday morning then! Brad flat out schooled me from the back! Saturday was the exact opposite, he couldnt get bit to save his life. It was fun though both days. We caught a ton of fish, and good ones. We were throwing 2.00, 2.1, and 2.2's back all day both days. I like that fish in your pic here Zach....... I swing fish like that in the boat! Hahahaha! Where you guys on the other side of the old man drop shotting the bridge? That old man smoked em all morning long. Eric saw me catching fish there Saturday and stopped and got right on top of us. Chris is a dang Blabber mouth, but he's a good looking one... hehehehee !! You crack me up dude... Too funny. Our regular spots will do just fine for this up coming weekend, I would imagine.. Talk about Blabber mouth... We found a NEW hot spot among the hords of boats last weekend, and had fish all too our selves. I hope the bite is still on.. 22-30 foot was the deal in heavy timber, the fish were hard to get out sometimes, but you have fish where they are to catch'um.. I had a 9.7lb fish that was 23.625 and just a toad compared to the one I did have over 24" inches... ???WHY is that.... It just kills me.... and I'm sure a lot of other anglers too. KBD Fishing |
