Why is Scott Dean on the West team??? I guess the East/West is just merely a team name and no correlation to location.
Thank you Lord for my family and the waters I get to fish

Why would a Guy from Weatherford be on the East Team... I'm kinda in the middle being from Arlington,, Did you see the first donation to the cause??? It's from south west fiberglass, a six shooter deer blind and a 5'foot tower stand valued at $1925.00 just one of the many raffle prizes to come... Robby rose and someone else I can't remember are on the East's Team along with the "mistery contestant".. Grande bass and Lake Fork tackle guys on the same team... Interesting. KBD Fishing

Zach, next year it will be an OPEN with a BassMaster type format.. The donations this year will be awesome.. Bill Wilcox just may be airing it on ALL OUTDOORS the TV show.(I'd bet on that) .. The fabulous prizes will all be raffled off by, you and me buying tickets for the Charity. That's how the money will be raised, in ticket sells. Lotz a ticket sells. KBD Fishing

Oh yeah, there will be a Calcutta too bet on.. I'm trying to get the board to swing in Favor of the RMAX fund to donate the money too. Randy Maxwell a well known angler and friend, has a son Dustin (age 22-yrs old) that has developed type 4 brain cancer the most aggressive known.. The young mans out look is bleak to say the least. Mark Perry and I have a talk about a fund raiser in Dustins honor.. I'm not sure if this one is it, but I'm trying. As many of us know Randy from the Media Trail on Fork. We also know he won the McDonalds year before last, the money won was going towards a retirement home on Lake Fork, but with Dustins illness it is all but gone in treatments and Doctors.. This is a devastating illness, one many of us would not want witness. Say a prayer for Randy and Dustin if you can find the time in your day, they need it. KBD Fishing

Our prayers are and have been going out for Dustin every day.. More on the Charity event soon, this thing is really taking off. It will be at Lake Fork Marina. A concert is being arranged for Friday night along with a load of festivities. It should be a lot of fun and exposure for any business wanting to donate to the cause. Tickets will be sold for the raffle Saturday night for all the donations from next week until November,15-th. Thanks Billy The tickets should hit local boat dealerships and tackle stores soon.. Thats horrible to hear. You can count on my prayers and the prayers of my family. Any age is a bad age to get this disease, but 22 is just too young. Like Ozzie, I want more information on this. Is there a website? Scott T
