Had a nice relaxing time my 5 days in Kansas when I went got my kids who had been there a whole month. Could not ask for nicer weather other than the two land spouts that came over the house the last full day there. Gave my mom quite a scare when she was driving toward the house on the road and thought they were twisters. Days are long in the summer but filled them playing with the kids, hoeing and picking garden, and hung some sheetrock in one of my dad's sheds. It is as green as I've ever seen, more corn fields than can remember seeing for many years, and should be lots of cover come deer season to contend with.

Josh with his best friend Peanut.

Spinning Josh on the merry go round.

My girls with their pigs they put some new paint on.

Mike will be proud. Some bareback riding.

Of course had to pop some fireworks.

And of course there are always the turkeys outside your bedroom window in the morning and all the different animals to go take care of.

And we went fishing one afternoon.

Quit being a mad, little bald man!

Very cool. I wish every kid had a place like that to go and hang out away from the hustle and bustle of city life. I know some of my greatest times as a kid were at my Grandparents farm. I bet you guys had a BLAST!!!!
