Charles, did you make it to the lake? Do any good?

Tex, how was your fishing tournament?
Thank you Lord for my family and the waters I get to fish

I also had a tuff time on Monday. Between me and my dad we only caught three slot fish. We also caught quite a few below the slot. Our better fish came on worms and topwaters along the bridge riprap near the rainswood ramp. Hunting was also tuff this past weekend near llano. Came home empty handed but had a fun weekend with the guys. Hope to try my lease in Cooke county this week to see if this cooler weather gets them moving.
I see my rod is longer than yours.

Congrats to both of you for boating some fish. I have not decided on if I am going to the Ray Bob tourney yet or not. I might just go deer hunting instead since I have still not arrowed a deer.
Thank you Lord for my family and the waters I get to fish
