I'm thinking about checking this lake out Saturday does anyone have any info on this place? I'm just wanted to try something new.

This lake was built for throwing a carolina rig! Just kidding.

I haven't been to CM in forever. What I remember is theirs lots of Reeds. I would always flip the reeds or throw crank baits. I never had a graph on the boat when I was up their so never knew of any type of deep water structure.

Good luck and let us know how you did!

Never fished it but have duck hunted it several times and the fishing looks promising. Let me know when and maybe I can head up there with you.

Where's HotfootG3, he fishes that neck of the woods all the time...
Thank you Lord for my family and the waters I get to fish

Seen a Chuck Justice show on CM, he wacked some good ones on a SB. Doug Stange did a show there for crappie but did not see it, supposedly it is a better crappie lake than X. Guys that are in the club say it is an excellent bass lake but I just can't make myself drive past Lake X.

Coffee Mill is a dangerous lake. Lots of shallow water and stumps. One third of the lake is pads now. Second best topwater lake in north Texas.
Guided for the Chuck Justce show. Largemouth up to 8lb on topwater if you know where to go. For you city boys, maybe 5lb.

I should be fun as alway. I stuck a few hogs the last two times out so I hope I'm dailed in we'll see. Thanks
