SAM RAYBURN: The Lake is full and water temps. have been running about 80. Water is stained from mid-lake to dam area and clearer up north. Bass have been hitting good lately with frogs worked in the grass and pepper grass getting some big bites. The ribbit frog rigged with a 5/0 has been good on braided power pro line at least 50 lb. Yellow magics and Nichols poppers have been working well with the blue flash in Nichols and shad colored yellow magics. Work them in 1-5 feet around grass or wood cover and pause alot. Texas rigged creature baits or hula twin tailed grubs in watermelon caught well this week worked in 2-8 feet near hydrilla or around wood. Carolina rigged same baits also caught worked in 8-10 feet off the breaks and points. Good Bass up to 6 lbs. were hooked this week. LAKE PALESTINE: Several good days this week with Bass up to almost 8 lbs. being hooked. Some clients caught Bass up to 5.5 lbs and lost some bigger working ribbit frogs around the grassy areas in the cove in 2-6 feet. Also Texas rigged red with purple glitter stinko\\'s made by Phantom tackle worked in the same areas produced Bass to almost 8 lbs. Also Nichols poppers in the bluish green and yellow magics in shad colors caught some quality Bass. Lake is full and a little off colored right in the current flow of the creeks but off to the side of the creeks and rest of Lake is clear water temps. were running 75-80 degrees. Lake is full.
