Gofish2day and his daughter went fishing with us today, and we had a great time fishing with this awesome father/daughter team. The day before Lee and I had found some great white bass jigging and left them after catching a few so they would not have sore mouths today. Well that did not work, we had to go and find them all over again. After searching all over with not much luck we headed to Browder's and found them in good size schools that would bite. After having stopped over many schools that would not hit a jig we thought it best to troll. There were several boats trolling around and all of us were catching fish. Yvonne was the designated rod girl and we kept her busy, she did not seem to mind and was hopping all around to get to the rods when they got hit. At one point we stopped over a big school to jig, caught a few and realized it was too hot to just sit still, so we went back to trolling for the breeze. The bite kept up until about 12:30 after that we had to head in, because if you were not catching them pretty quick the heat seemed a lot worse! Karl and Yvonne had a good cooler of big white bass so we went in. I was busy looking for or helping with rods so I did not get as many pics as I would have liked to. Here are a couple, one of our rod girl with a striper, and one of her and her dad entertaining the ducks at Beacon bay after coming in.
