It has been awhile since I last posted a report on this forum. I will try to post more reports this year. As for our fishing down here in Galveston Texas it has been great. We have been having some excellent trips this spring. We are mainly running our jetty trips and we have had some great trips. During spring, the speckled trout bite is really inconsistent. We catch them real good one or two days in a row, then the next couple of day we can't buy a bite! So I offer jetty fishing trips, because the bit out there is sometimes non stop. We are catching redfish, sheepshead, drum and a few specks. We are using live shrimp fishing real close to the rocks. We will start targeting the speckled trout in a week or two and I believe when we get on them; it is going to be crazy. All the rains we have got and the great weather that we have been having is going to really have the specks schooled up and feeding. Well I will post another report soon. Until next time, see you on the water.
