Went last week, fished piling to piling at 1097 bridge with minnows. Caught alot of small fish and some good ones. Ended up with 9 keeper Crappie and 5 nice cats. Toss-up tommorow between conroe crappie and white bass run thats starting.

Thanks for the report on the conroe action. Now that deer season is winding down, I am moving my attention back to fishing. I miss the good 'ol days of chasing white bass in the creeks North of Livingston and Somerville. It's a different ball game up here in North Texas and harder to find access to good feeder creeks stacked with white bass.

Good luck, keep the updates coming, and feel free to post them in the "At The Ramp" section -- along with pictures... :-)

I was gonna go to Conroe Sunday but with the wind as it was I bowed down. Always this weekend!!!! I hear the White Bass are up the east fork thick.
