Bass have been excellent over the past few days and should continue that way for some time with the warm temps and 2nd spawn still to come. We have been using watermelon or kudzu colored trick worms and pork shad in the the thick cypress/grass mix in shallow water to catch the majority of the bass. Also, try fishing the 7-9 ft. deep cypress using black/blue, black/red, and watermelon lizards. In the deeper trees we have not caught as many as the shallows are producing but catching some good sized bass.

Thanks for the report Chronarch. Hope to spend most of the Easter weekend on Caddo. Its always nice to hear what is going on out there. Caddo is a hard lake for most of us non-pros to fish. At least it is for me :-).
