Toledo Bend Fishing Report
Mid Lake and South End
April 20, 2006


Water Temp.~ 67* to 77*
Lake Level ~ 167.95
no generating at this time


BASS ~ Good. Start in 3ft to 6ft and throw a split
shot rigged smokin green finness worm or a challenger
little easy top water bait in clear shad color.as day
warms move to end of points in 12'to 18'and throw a
bumble bee colored DD14 crank bait or a carolina
rigged watermelon/gold flake baby brush hog. Remember
to spray all your baits with Kick N Bass.

BREAM ~ Good. On crickets and Berkly Power Maggots in
shallow flats.

CRAPPIE ~ Good. over grass in 11' to 15' of water on
shiners and 1/16 oz. chartreuse & purple/white colored
tubes.

STRIPER'S ~ Good. Use electronics to locate bait fish
along flats in 24' to 30' of water. Then use large RAT
L TRAPS or live carp in these areas.

CATFISH ~ Good. In 6' to 12' of water on Catfish
Charlie and liver around shallow flats towards the
backs of creeks on liver.
