Bass can be caught in a wide variety of ways right now. Topwaters and V&M Porkshad in the grass are catching the numbers. My bigger bites have mostly come off the cypress using a V&M Super Ringer worm and a Cyclone jig in most any dark color. Bass are eating shad and bream heavily right now and these patterns should continue for a while. Frogs over the matted vegetation are catching some nice bass too. The lake is at normal levels and and the water temps have been ranging from 79-85 degrees.
Go to http://bayououtdoors.com to see the V&M and Cyclone line of baits.
