I don't usually post reports, but I'm off Fork for the next three weeks, so I thought I'd give up some info..

Kay and I got out late both days, due too the much needed work around the house..
Saturday we fished 3:00 pm - 10:30pm
We fished Deep, dropshotting trick worms Grn/Pumkin, 25-29 foot on a ledge corner with scattered timber every where.
Fair results, we had 7-slots best was around 6-lbs we also had 2-very nice unders @ 2+lbs ea. Some fish were suspended in the timber hard to say how deep they were. You'd be pulling it thru a tree and Bam !! they'd hit it
After the sun went down so did our catching..

Sunday we fished from 10:00 am - 2:00 pm. Heavy cloud cover yesterday, I thought that would be a good thing for the Shallow bite *** as it turned out not really*** we caught 1- nice 15" incher @ 2-lbs.. The fish are fat right now gorging on Shad..

Well I couldn't help but not go back out to the deep bite, and we found that the Bigger Fish had moved in.. Not in Large numbers, but enough.. too keep us there for a few Hours..

Same baits as the day before, except a different color-Candy Bug trick worms were the deal with the cloud cover.

I had the hot hand on Sunday, Kay's was Saturday. Kinda funny how that works. In two hours we had 2-break off's, caught 3-fish over 8-lbs, 2-in the 5-6 lb. range, and 3-good unders.
The spot we were fishing, is the same spot Kay caught Her over in the McDonald's tournament.. It's still on out there..

We did see alot of fish schooling in several different areas, some out deep, and some in 15-17 foot about mid-way back in some of the bigger creeks like Penson, and Wolf.

I hope you can use some of this..
Good Luck and Good fishing..

look out Texoma, I'll be up there for the next few weeks..

Great report Billy... I wish I could get out to Fork and take advantage of it but that won't happen for several weeks.

Thanks for posting the report!
Thank you Lord for my family and the waters I get to fish

Do we have to bring PQ??? :-) I would love to come up and fish with you billy but it's hunting season now.. Gonna hit the water tomorrow for probably the last trip of the year for me. We need to schedule another FTN day at fork for some time in the spring.
