Fished Lake Raven in Huntsville State Park for the 1st time on January 27th. Why didn't the TPWD report on their website that they were drawing the water down? Still an interesting body of water to putter around on. Blue skies, no wind. The water was 51 to 54 degrees. We fished deep and shallow without any luck. As far as I can tell there are no humps or real points to hold fish. Most all of the vegetation is dead on the banks. Don't ask me why he was there, but my better-half did catch a nice 4-12 on a spinnerbait next to a turtle on a log. I'll go back when the water is back to normal and the weeds are there.

Be safe,
Rayzor
